- The member’s address and other relevant information will be stored in ESALA’s secretariat, which will be at the office of the member of the Committee that acts as ESALA’s Secretary. These data will be accessible for the Secretary of ESALA and employees that work under the supervision of ESALA’s Secretary. Data will primarily be stored to invite members to (on line) meetings and to provide information about future activities of ESALA.
- ESALA collects, processes and stores the personal data we were provided with upon registering as a member by filling the members sign-up form when we process the provided personal data for the purposes indicated below. (In this respect, we rely on the ground of legitimate interest (Article 6.1.f ))
– Payment of participation fees (where applicable).
– Inclusion in the list of members and of participants in any ESALA meeting (administering ESALA’s membership)
Data collected for these purposes will be controlled by ESALA and may be sent to and processed by a third party contractually engaged by ESALA to provide services necessary for hosting of ESALA’s activities. - On the ground on the members’ consent, we process their personal data for the following purposes:
– Sending invitations for (on line) meetings
– Distributing alerts about future activities of ESALA - The member’s personal data will be stored in ESALA’s secretariat, which will be at the office of the member of the Committee that acts as ESALA’s Secretary. These data will be accessible for the Secretary of ESALA and employees that work under the supervision of ESALA’s Secretary.
- On ending of one’s membership ESALA will immediately and definitively remove the member’s details from its database.
- A member’s e-mail address will only be used by ESALA. ESALA does not sell or rent e-mail addresses to anyone outside ESALA.
- A member has the right to know if his/her data is being processed, what personal data is processed, and to require ESALA to rectify or erase their data. A member has also right to restrict or object to the processing of his/her date as well as lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (the Dutch one, as I assume).
- A member has right to withdraw his/her consent at any time.
- All correspondence concerning personal data should be addressed to the secretary of ESALA.
